Quick Start Guide

1. Download the new App via this link DOWNLOAD APP 

2. Register a Free Account and Log into the App


3.  Make sure you remove the clear protective film on the front of the camera before use.

4. Connect Camera

OPTION 1: WiFi Mode (Recommended)

  • Connect your phone to a WiFi network
  • Ensure that you have Bluetooth enabled on your phone
  • Switch camera to ON
  • Tap Add Device from the App Home screen
  • The camera should automatically be detected via Bluetooth
  • Select the camera and proceed
  • Follow the prompts
  • Confirm WiFi settings
  • Your camera should be online and no further steps are required
If there is no Bluetooth detection then you can connect via QR Code (See full User Manual)

You can also connect to WiFi Mode from AP Mode (See full User Manual)

 

OPTION 2: AP Mode (Only if WiFi is not available)

  • Open the App
  • If you have previously added the camera, go to camera settings and Delete Device
  • Switch camera to ON
  • Press Reset on the back of the camera
  • Select camera Hotspot (@OK or @MC) under phone network settings.
  • Open the App and the camera should automatically appear.

TIPS in AP Mode:

  • Its best to not have any other wifi networks in the area stored on your phone (if you do you can go to Forget Network). For example, do not connect your phone to a hotel wifi while using AP Mode as you want your phone to stay connected to the camera hotpsot.
  • After the first connection to AP Mode, you phone will show a pop-up asking if you want to use Mobile Data as there is no internet connection. You can select Use Mobile Data so you can still use you cellular data for other tasks on your phone.
  • After the first connection, you may need to fully close and open the App to create a stable connection.
  • You could use a seperate device, like an iPad, as a dedicated monitor to free up you phone.

OPTION 3: Personal Hotspot (Only if WiFi is not available)

This is the most reliable method when you have no wifi. You will need 2 phones.

  • Connect your phone to the personal hotspot of another phone
  • Tap Add Device from the App Home screen
  • The camera should be detected, Tap Connect
  • Follow the prompts
  • Confirm WiFi settings
  • The Hotpsot phone needs to stay within range of the camera, but you can now access the camera from anywhere with another phone.

How to go back to AP Mode from WiFi Mode

If your camera is in WiFi mode and you want to go back to AP Mode, follow these steps:

  • Delete the camera from the App (IMPORTANT)
  • Press press and hold the Reset button on the back of the camera until the blue and green lights flash.
  • Choose camera hotspot from your phone Wifi settings (@OK or @MC)
  • The camera will automatically appear in the App and you are now connected to AP Mode.
